How the conversion works
All five speed units convert through a shared base unit, meters per second — multiply your value by the "from" unit's factor to reach m/s, then divide by the "to" unit's factor to land on the target unit. Unlike temperature, speed has no zero-point mismatch to work around, so it uses the same simple factor-table approach as length, weight and volume.
