Calculators covering loans, mortgages, investing, savings, tax, or any other financial topic are not financial or tax advice, and do not account for your complete financial picture, your jurisdiction's current tax rules, fees a lender may charge, or terms specific to a real offer you receive. Health, fitness and pregnancy calculators

Calculators covering body metrics, calories, due dates, or any other health topic are not medical advice and cannot diagnose, treat, or assess any medical condition. They provide general estimates based on common formulas (for example, standard BMI or due-date calculations), which do not account for your individual medical history. Always consult a doctor, midwife, or other qualified healthcare provider for guidance specific to you.

Construction, science and engineering calculators

Calculators covering materials, areas, volumes, physics or engineering formulas are meant for general estimation and learning. They are not a substitute for a qualified engineer, contractor, or professional assessment, particularly for anything involving structural, electrical, or safety considerations.

How we try to keep results accurate

Each calculator on the Site is built from a formula published in a cited, public source, and every calculator's result page shows that formula and a step-by-step proof so you can check the math by hand. Before publication, each calculator is tested against independently verified reference calculations. Even so, no automated tool is infallible — inputs can be misread, edge cases can be missed, and formulas themselves can vary between authoritative sources.
